what is A keyboard?

A keyboard is an input device used in computers to enter text and commands. It consists of a set of keys that are arranged in a specific layout, such as the QWERTY layout used in most English-speaking countries. The keys on a keyboard are divided into several categories, including alphanumeric keys (letters and numbers), function keys (F1-F12), navigation keys (arrows, Home, End, Page Up/Down), modifier keys (Shift, Ctrl, Alt), and special purpose keys (Enter, Backspace, Delete). Keyboards can be connected to a computer via various ports such as USB or PS/2. Some keyboards also include additional features such as multimedia controls or backlighting.
